Alpha Boyzie Kamara, Esq. is a trained and qualified Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of Sierra Leone and also a Barrister, Solicitor and Notary Public of the Supreme Court of Cameroon. He was trained in the art of legal practice in three distinct jurisdictions in Africa, namely; at the University of Yaoundé II in Yaoundé, Cameroon, Ghana School of Law in Accra, Ghana and the Sierra Leone Law School in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
He is a member of the Cameroon Bar Association, the Sierra Leone Bar Association and the African Bar Association (where he serves as the Director of Information and Protocol). Elvis has behind him over 15 years of work experience in the fields of law, legal practice, rule of law, access to Justice and human rights, civil society programming, monitoring & evaluation, security, strategic and development studies with the security, judicial and legal institutions in Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo and Sierra Leone. He has worked with a wide range of Civil Society Organisations and Non Governmental Organisations, National Governments and the United Nations system. He possesses an extra-ordinary ability to simplify complex security, strategic, legal and development concepts and procedures to the understanding of everyone.
Mr. Alpha Boyzie Kamara’s experience, knowledge and skills have placed him at challenging positions in developmental organizations and/or institutions charged with the responsibility of establishing sustainable development through the protection and promotion of human rights, justice and the rule of law.
Mr. Alpha Boyzie Kamara is perfectly bilingual in English and French. His communication skills both verbal and written are impeccable.
